Although photographs do reveal a lot about seeds, sometimes perspective matters.
Take these seeds in this seed head, for example. You can see what they look like, for the most part.
Now check from this angle. See anything different? What about those “hooks” at the end of each seed? Looking back, they are there in the first photograph, but not nearly as prominent.
