You might have the plant that produces these seeds in you garden right now.
Or you might have them in your salad. Can you guess what plant it is?

If you have ever seen these seeds up close before, you will recognize them right away.
The surface is loaded with pits or dimples.
Any idea what plant produces these dimpled seeds? Be sure to leave a comment if you have an idea.
Please don’t be embarrassed if your guess isn’t correct. It is very difficult to tell from a close-up photograph with no scale. I appreciate guesses because it gives me ideas for future posts 🙂

I can’t believe we are up to mystery seed #125 already. Some weeks it is hard to come up with something new, but then I look again at a common plant that I’ve taken for granted and there’s our mystery seed 🙂
If you live in a warm climate, you may have seen these green fruit hanging on a shrub or small tree.
Over time they start to darken.
This is what they look like when they’ve fallen off the plant.
Any ideas what plant these belong to?
