Curly mesquite. I grew up with mesquite trees, but never saw a curly mesquite bean until last month when visiting the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Your picture looks just like the ones I saw there.

I haven’t been to the Tucson Botanical Garden in too long. Used to enjoy it a lot. We’ll have to get down there.
