Roberta (Post author) January 4, 2012 at 1:05 pm Rebecca, The butterfly was in a exhibit at the Tucson Botanical Garden. I believe it is a blue clipper, Parthenos sylvia. The true bugs are giant mesquite bugs, which I wrote about here: http://blog.growingwithscience.com/2011/08/bug-of-the-week-giant-mesquite-bugs/ Lea's Menagerie January 4, 2012 at 11:24 pm The butterflies are lovely, and you have some great macro shots of ants and bees, but my favorite photo is the ‘bugs’ with the cactus!
