Sometimes common names can be misleading.
For example, when I opened the fleshy fruit surrounding these seeds I was half expecting to see a “pit.”
Instead there was a cluster of flat seeds inside. Obviously, the plants the fruit came from are not closely related to their namesakes.
Aren’t the softly fuzzy seeds nice, though?
Do you recognize what plant these seeds are from? If you choose to, please leave a comment with your ideas.
