This very strange seed pod was given to us by someone who knew we liked plants. (Yes, this is from a plant!)

Have you ever seen one before? Do you know what the plant is?

Our seeds this week come from a plant that is not native and is considered to be invasive. We planted some in our yard before we knew that.

Here is the seed head.

The seeds are knocked off as they mature.

Aren’t the seeds interesting? Any ideas what they might be?

These are all over our yard this year.

Any idea what kind of plant they might be from? Hint: these will definitely not be found in a salad. 🙂
